BK Amager er en klub baseret på bredden, men vi mener ikke, at der er en bredde uden toppen. Vi har næsten lige så mange frivillige som medlemmer.

Du får stor fleksibilitet i dit arbejde, hvor du selv tilrettelægger din arbejdstid. Arbejde i både hverdage og weekender vil forekomme.
En deltidsstilling på ca. 20 timer/ugen.
Fri adgang til træningscenter i Amagerhallen.

Din primære arbejdsplads vil være Amagerhallen, Kastrupgårdskolen og Tårnby Gymnasium.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Sportschef Mission, Statement and Responsibilities The goal is to build and maintain a sustainable Youth Basketball Program at BK Amager through continued development of coaches, and structured development of players.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY – YOUTH COACHES
- Youth Coaches U7-U19. Find and hire with direction and support from Board representative(s) responsible for Youth Coaches. (Including securing Børneattester.)
- Support and development of Coaches: Attend and observe min. 2 youth practices/week. Cover all youth teams in each half of the season. Give coach prior notice before you come. Give feedback.
- Support and Development of Coaches (and Players) – Plan and run 2 practices/season for each Youth team U13-U19 with participation of Youth Coach.
- Problem solving throughout season. Coaching vacancies, Team problems, Parents, optimizing waitlist. Most important are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th team coaches. Communicate with them at least once a month. In cooperation with Board representative(s) responsible for Coaches and Youth.
- Coaches Clinics – hold 3 clinics –Fall, Winter, Spring. Dates and topic given to coaches and Board representative in Sept.
- Coaches Meetings – August (wk 33), November (wk 47), Feb. (wk 5) and May (wk 18).
- Some teams with experienced coaches can be excluded from the support and development. Instead time will be spent with younger/inexperienced coaches.
- Help decide with the coaches’ player placement on 1st team, 2nd team, etc.
- Develop structure for coaches to work together – across years and from 1st team, 2nd team, etc.
MEETING SCHEDULE
Agenda for August meeting with Board representative(s) responsible for Coaches and Youth (open to all parents):
- Define your core values that will guide us through the season as Sportschef for BKAmager
- Identify our long-term goals, and upcoming season goals.
- Share your vision of how we will get there and why we want to go there.
- Identify some short-term goals that tie into your core values and our long-term goals.
Agenda for May meeting with Board representative(s) responsible for Coaches and Youth:
- Evaluation of Coaches, teams and season.
- Have we achieved what we set out to achieve?
- Are we being guided by our values?
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY – YOUTH PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
- Camps – Fall , Winter, and Summer MiniCamp – In cooperation with all coaches plan and run these camps. Fall and Winter Camps use H1 and D1 players as coaches. The Sportchef will be responsible for organizing camps, but not necessarily participating in camps.
- Fundamentals and special training: Shooting, dribbles, passing, physical training and tactics / plays. Through extra training sessions as well as attendance in team training the Sportschefen should help to heighten all youth players skills.
- Identify talented elite players at each level – work ethic and skill level – initiate an individual development plan with coach.
- Develop and implement morning practice program.
