Velkommen til Almir

Det er med stor glæde herreholdet at præsentere coach for de næste to sæsoner Almir Zeco. Og ved at kigge på listen af resultater er det en erfaren coach vi har med at gøre.

Herreholdet beskrivelse af Almir Zeco:

En coach som er seriøs, velforberedt og meget engageret. Står fast på sine principper om at hårdt arbejde samt fremmøde til træning er den vej man får spilletid på hans hold. At udvikle unge spillere er en hjertesag for Almir. Har altid en historie at fortælle

Almir er 42 år og fra Bosnien

Har trænererfaring fra ungdom og elite basketball fra følgende:

  • BK Bosna Sarajevo
  • BK Vogosca
  • Sisu basketball
  • Wolfpack
  • BK Amager
  • Landshold i Danmark som U20 and U23 head coach
  • Herre landshold ass. coach

Med følgende resultater:

  • U18 vinder af mesterskabet i Bosnien med BK Bosna
  • A1 liga vinder  og oprykning til Premier ligaen i Bosnien med BK Vogosca
  • 2 gange U21 Danmarksmester med Sisu
  • 2 gange U20 Nordisk mester med det danske landshold
  • 1 division vinder og oprykning til Basketligaen med Wolfpack
  • Oprykning til Basketligaen med BK Amager

Almir’s egne ord om den forstående sæson:

New season in basketligaen is just logical continuation of our work in previous 3 seasons.
Our goal is to develop players who are coming from our youth department and give them chance to play against best players in Denmark.

Of course we want to support them with other danish or import players who are talented,  ready to work hard and bring new quality to the team.

We know that some of our players are not ready yet to
compete on high level, but playing against best players in Denmark can help them to develop faster.

Basketball is of course about winning and losing games, but our focus in new season is to develop our players individually, build the team and organization and to become competitive with best teams in the future.

Development process can be slow, but we know our priorities and goals, and we will do the best to make it happen as soon as possible.
